Understand the Language

The more you know the foreign language, or lingo, of glide fishing the more fun it will be as you glide fish with your acquaintances and family. Some of the foreign language that you must know includes:

Glide: The glide is light consequence lure that is used to attract a diversity of fish counting trout and salmon. The most run of the mill glide is the mayfly.

Leader: The leader is emotionally involved to the end of glide line since the glide line is too thick to hold flies. The leader can be identified as a tapering clear piece of monofilament.

Plug: The plug is a lure that looks just like a bait fish. It will have one or more hooks that hang down from its body. You can use uncommon plugs and jerk them nearly to look like a fish that has been injured.

Spinners: A spinner is a small oval-shaped blade that is emotionally involved to the end of a lure. A spinning hook will be trailing off the end of it.

Tippet: The tippet is a clear piece of monofilament. It is emotionally involved to the end of the leader so that the leaders end taper is preserved.

Imprecise Bugger: The Imprecise Bugger is a glide that has a very austere point with a long tail feather on the end. This glide is very well loved among experienced person glide fishers.
